Brian James I’m not understanding not only how Brock maintains such a prolific output while maintaining such a high standard of music. I’m understanding even less why no one wanted to release this beauty; Fear of Heights is up there with his best. Favorite track: Fear of Heights.

The last album I recorded while still living in China, before I took a very long sabbatical from music and the world as I attempted to grapple with an upcoming transformation of my life and world I'm still failing miserably at even approaching handling in a reasonably competent manner.

I wrote a lot – I mean a lot – about what it all means.
Then I deleted it all.

You can hear for yourself.
Hopefully feel for yourself.

And hopefully let it into your life.
Where it was intended to live.

And we can remember for almost 79 minutes that neither of us is alone.

You will either love or hate this album.
There will be no in-between.
Nor should there be.

May yours be a life of mercy – given and received.

This is a spellbinding piece of work. Huge sound that envelopes you and creates a feeling of pure emotion that sweeps you along. I listened to the cd on my way to work in one go which I think is the way to digest this properly. I can hear many influences but for me the album brought to mind Seefeel and late electronic period Cocteau Twins, most notably Feet Like Fins and Seekers Who Are Lovers which are two of my favourite tracks by them. Packaging is a labour of love too.🙏 andrew noakes
